First Roadtrip - WOW
I've had my 2005 Continental for a few months now, but just took it on my first lengthy highway trip - about 3 hrs and 185 miles. What an amazing car. So competent on the road, completely planted, utterly powerful, classy and silent.
On other trips around Chicago highways I've noticed that some drivers can be less than kind - taking pleasure into refusing you a chance to merge and such.
Listening all the way to my iphone through that $12 bluetooth thing that gets recommended here. Sound quality at least as good as the CD input.
Noticed a fair bit of road noise. My car has the Pirelli Pzero Nero tires on it. Are those known as noisy? What tires does everyone seem to like for the car for the next time I need them? I'm in Chicago but likely will drive it in the summer only.

Edit:
In the picture you see 0614. That means my spare was made in June of 2014. The only way I found this out is because I hit a pothole and it blew out the sidewall. I had rotated my tires so I didn’t know which two I had purchased from Tire Rack. After you send them all your info and about 4-6 pictures of your tire do they make a determination on your claim. That’s when the agent told me what those numbers meant.

" Listening all the way to my iphone through that $12 bluetooth thing "
I run a 2008 GT here in the UK .
My local Bentley centre Service Manager told me that I would be unable to play music stored on my Android phone through the Bentley system.
Can you enlarge on the " $12 bluetooth thing " and explain how it works ( I'm pretty hopeless at IT ).

Here's the one I got - went up a few bucks.
Basically you plug it into a powered cigarette lighter or 12v outlet. Adjust the FM frequency on the thing. Pair it with your phone's bluetooth. Set your FM car radio to the frequency and it plays whatever your phone is playing. Says it can be used to phone calls too but I never tried.

Blue tooth adapter
I found this little part for about $90 on Amazon, ordered the VW one, works like a charm. I have been using for over a year.
