Latest update to my car.

Finally opened the box and installed my puddle lights (after sitting on a shelf for 6 months). Lazy on my part as I should have at least looked at them. As Roman says, a very simple plug/play. 5 minutes at the most. I still do have another aftermarket set that are not plug/play and I might try something creative with these.....once our air temps drop below 110*F.....

Hello Steve (BWings) ... Beautiful lights, Ive ordered the same one from ebay (china) but the delivery is slow hoping to get them some time next month, cost $25 ... £20.01 ... Wow 110*F is high saying that we had a one off heatwave yesterday 102.2 which was unbelievable ...
But, all credit to Mr. Roman....Well done sir!
Yes, we're blessed (or plagued) with triple digit (F) temps from usually beginning of June to first of October. During this time, night time low temps usually stay warm, around low 90s to high 80s.

Hello Rico! Back from that wonderful Mayfair visit? Yes, the LEDs will get quite hot. The incandescents, you might have noticed, were quite hot as well. I couldn't get mine unplugged fast enough before I got a burn. Here is mine....now we're members of the club that Mr. Roman615 started! I still have round ones from another vendor that I'll play around with...someday when finally get to summer and it's not so hot.

Well I finally got around to installing the LED’s and as my luck always goes, the passenger side snapped right in. Get to the drivers side.... 🤦🏾. The side opposite of the plug WILL NOT snap into place. So now it’s just out a tad bit. Oh well, I may try to fiddle with it tomorrow.

Welcome to the Roman 615 Club!
Both left and right sides on mine did that too. I've tried pretty much everything including an awful lot of pressure with a tool. They just will not go unless you start trimming leather away from the opening.
Instead of that, I pressed in (fitted) the connector end, got the other end in as far as I could, then I applied a dot (small dot half the size of a pencil eraser) of Home Depot type silicone adhesive. I think I used the DAP brand. It can be clear, white (doesn't matter). Put the dot on the end not snapping in, gently close the door and let the car sit for a period of time like overnight.
It will keep it in place and ensure you're not going to have it slip one day and, obviously, if you close the door on it, it will be history. If/when you ever want to remove it just break the joint with and tooled end - screwdriver, putty knife, plastic or metal. It'll cut right loose and you can then remove the light.
