Hello @cerex ,
To be fair to the shop, I can see them spending more time then the 10, or now 20 hours, and here is why, removing and installing the headliner is not the problem, it is the removal of all the old glue and foam pieces that are stuck to both the fiberglass shell, and the leather itself, it a real pita, I spent a morning and afternoon just picking and scraping the foam bits off.

If all the old foam and glue is not removed, it makes for a hideous looking job after refitting the leather, BTDT

See the pictures showing the grey foam.

Also if your headliner has been done before, this can make for a tougher job.

Johnny

cerex is infamous around these parts
Jonny thank you I appreciate the response. They initially said 10 hours we know what we are doing bring it in done headliners many times. 3 days later doubled the estimate. 5 days later emailed it mighty be more.

Truth be told the sagging was so light on the passenger rear I might not have done it at 20+ hours in labor. Was doing it as a maintenance item could have waited for years by which time might not even have the car as I am thinking about a 13-14 model year upgrade from my 07.

It is what it is now, appreciate you giving me some details and reference points for the upcoming discussion - to work with.
