Mercedes has the same problem. Unfortunately two solutions : live with it or buy a new mirror. Seems that the auto dimming chemicals eventually leach through. The Mercedes guys blame it on sunlight hitting the mirror overtime.

Perhaps a glass cutter can help out. Just a thought.

Me neither. I was suggesting it as your original post suggested you were only concerned by the discoloration and simply wanted to "hide" the existing mirrors with the same shaped mirror.

absolutely bud it was my first thought too, i can find them on the ebay for 2010 on models for like 15 quid but not for pre 2010 models..
just thought if we could get a pair of old ones someone had replaced to donate as patterns it would be win win for us early conti spur owners.

the company i spoke with were talking around 25 quid to produce each side which compared to flying spares 260 odd quid each , seemed a good route to go down so we could all get them cheap in future once they have patterened one...it seems that the discolouration thing is getting commom now like on some earlier mercedes which they put down to sunlight on the chemicals used in the auto dim?

You can get heated glass replacement on eBay for about £18 if you can live without the auto dim

To be honest the conclusive answer was no...
I approached a manufacturer and they told me to send them one and see if they could replicate them but sadly no one on here could assist with a broken one I could send them...another company told me they could cut some mirror glass to suit but as the GT has a chrome surround they could not replicate this only a replacement glass that would fit over the existing one..so not much luck overall..they quoted around 30 quid for the glass .
If you have any more luck keep me posted..stay safe regards
