Hello Yoghurtshotgun ... Are you in the UK if so then go to your local Bentley dealership Im sure if you supply them with the Vin number they should pull up some history of your car. As BWings mentioned in another post most of these cars past a certain age have never seen a Bentley dealership so you may find it difficult to find any history if any at all. Past MOT's can be found on the Department of Transport website or if you know a garage that do MOT's they may able to give you copies. As for the LOG book do you have the previous owners details printed on it if so contact the person he or she may have something.
Other than that mate don't know ... hope you have some luck ...

To add to some of Rico's reply - Here in the states the US car companies are pretty liberal with revealing service histories on cars (GM especially), simply with a VIN. They do redact all personal information - names, addresses, etc. Given what I just went through with Bentley to gain access to publications, the new privacy laws could impact info like this.
Once a car (any car) is past warranty, if the owner(s) in those times choose not to take the car back for factory service, that record stops. Past that point it would be up to individual owners to keep their own records or possible independent shops help by keeping repair records. This is especially true if you are DIYing your car.
But, you can sometimes piece together information. Question - Do you use/have access to Carfax (or other similar reporting agencies) in Eur? When I've done carfaxes on cars I've looked at, there are certain agencies in the US that publish some work that Carfax will pick up in public documents. information such as state inspection reports and failures, safety recalls, any accidents where insurance companies, police reports and some body shops are involved. Some independent repair shops make their repair records public that Carfax picks up.
Here is a cut paste excerpt of one vehicle which I was researching to purchase. The actual report in carfax was three full pages long, this was a small piece of that. Even though I had no comprehensive repair history from one report, there was much information following this vehicles travels to different owners in different states, eventually ending up in Arizona. Autohaus is an independent repair shop here in Phoenix.

Good info BWings ... going back to what Mr BWing mentioned Bentley dealerships will give you all the service history on your car as long as the owner/s had the car serviced, repairs & MOT's, done there, after that you will not find any info as BWings pointed out these cars could be repaired at any workshop or even at home so no record of it will be on a database. Bentley dealerships will not give you the previous owner/s details due to privacy laws. The report BWings has posted is fantastic. We in the UK can log onto the DVLA database & view & print all the MOT's on any vehicle just by entering the vehicle registration number, it will have a detail log of any repairs that were mentioned on the MOT's & the pass & fail, also you can log onto Caranalytics entire your registration number & you should find a lot of info on your vehicle ...
