Hi guys 01274 fault code on my 2004 bgt says step motor road speed damper .any ideas
I was just tinkering in the garage with a faulty wing mirror bulb and thought I'd do a diag on it and this came up never had any problems before with the climate control and it seems weird why it's suddenly popped up but any advice would be great thanks in advance

 

The NeverEnding Bentley Saga. Probably a false alarm. Reset and see if it returns. VAG cars occasionally set trouble codes when they are worked on. Additionally, this is where the Ross Tech vcds is handy. Doing the output test of the HVAC system would include activating the air flaps, thus verifying functionality.

Ha ha yea these cars are like women they throw tantrums at every possibility .the courtesy light in the wing mirror is now annoying me .light bulb fine indicator working just no power on opening the door 🙈 and then parking sensors yippee!! Still not got a vcds either I'm a sucker for punishment
