They charge a lot; I think around $1,200 for all, I wish I'd known about the $200 option. I asked if they'd just bend the line for me, but the technician wasn't into it, I could have twisted their arm, but he really wanted factory fittings since the engine would have to come out if a hand-built line failed, I totally understood that, I can't even flare brake lines without getting a spray of brake fluid when I pressure-check it.
I really threw a bunch of parts at this, I don't intend on ever pulling the engine again. Once is plenty.
I guess closer to $1,500 for factory hard lines.
Now that they seem to admit its a problem by having their own steel lines without actually saying its a problem, Bentley should be giving owners no matter if your the original owner or not some type of credit if you need this done and if you already had it done some type of cash back offer.
I don't disagree. I really like the car, but I am continually insulted by the replacement part costs, especially the Audi/VW ones. All of the lines together should cost $100 or $200, not $1,500, especially since it's because they routed them on top of the transmission with cheap plastic connectors.
