Update: I'm happy to report I found and fixed the problem... and there was a happy dance involved. The problem was that the left rear height sensor was dangling by it's control arm... because the bolt that attaches the sensor to the suspension arm... that bolt was missing... fell out. I sourced the correct replacement bolt, put things back together as they should be, lowered the car down off the hoist... and "voila": All four shocks aired up perfectly... checked the height adjustments... and all is as it should be. Yea! While it was up on the hoist I checked the other mounting bolts, the right rear sensor bolt was "almost finger tight".

So anyway: After I installed the hoist, and after catching up on my various company vehicles' service, and helping out some neighbors and employees with some vehicle fix-it stuff... today was the big day I finally got the 2007 GT up on the hoist, checked out for obvious problems with the height issues, found it, fixed it, and now I'm patting myself on my back.

And I think this will answer a long standing mystery with that vehicle, being that as long as I've owned it, every once in awhile while cornering the height alarm would "alert" in the DIC, but then go-away shortly after... I'm guessing that bolt was on it's way out... just hadn't fallen completely out yet.
