Pairing what next
As far as the storage location, it resides in the right hand center armrest handset cradle as pictured
If for any reason the handset has gone dead and or has lost its Initialization follow the instructions pictured, also note the charging is only available with the ignition on.
Johnny.

Hello Cerex,
Well I just figured it out, the 3W0035385BB that your purchased from Pacific is not from a "2010 Flying Spur", it is from a 2007 Flying spur that had the dealer update module installed, that is why it has the SW 0060, YES the module was made on May 27th 2009 and then later installed at the dealer, the listing for the 3W0035385 clearly states that it is from a 2007 Flying Spur with 21k on the clock...

FYI I upgraded to IPhone 11 Pro a month ago it works perfectly on the connection with steering wheel controls and Dashboard controls fully active.
So IPhone X and IPhone 11 Pro I can confirm will connect/work. Conversation sound, mic works great.
Please note: DO NOT have capabilities to download the phone book, caller ID, etc.

Johnny,
Are you able to help? I have a CGT 05 with the phone system where there is a privacy phone in one arm rest and a bluetooth module in the other arm rest that takes a SIM card also. See picture. My bluetooth module was 3W0035385H and I purchased from the USA 3W0035385AT with HW-0008 and Software SW0264. See attached.
All I did was to change out the Bluetooth unit with battery connected.
But now when i start the car the infotainment system tells me 'SIM not inserted' and the arm rest control unit does not light up.
Any thoughts of what if anything I might have done wrong or need to do to update the Bluetooth module so it registers? Or is it a little more complicated than just changing out the Bluetooth unit.
Many thanks
James

My car BF Spur 2007 can connect well to my Samsung S10+, I can receive call, answer and hang up from the steering wheel.
However, the car bluetooth system requires the phone to connect in "Remote sim sharing" mode.
It means I won't able to dial number directly from the phone. If you want to call someone, you will have to look for their number from the contact list imported to car system or dial numbers directly on the dash screen, and this is super slow 😭
If I don't accept "Remote sim sharing" mode, the car bluetooh system won't allow my phone to connect.
Does anyone here get the same issue?
My car has the below bluetooth system

My Verizon S10 5G does not behave that way, I can place calls from the car or directly from the S10 5G, now on the other hand when I pair the Vertu Ascent, it behaves as you describe, I can do nothing with it hands on.
Maybe a Samsung regional issue for you ?

@corveight
Ok, I see in your pictures you have it in the cradle and out of the cradle, so leave it in the cradle as the instructions state, I take by the "pairing" shown on screen that star, hash, 4648, hash worked, so on the infotainment screen during phone setup is there a pin code displayed ?

Hello @cerex ,
Would you kindly perform this button sequence shown in the pictures below, and post a picture of the information shown on your infotainment screen, so we may all understand how your 2007 would not accept the "AT" BT module, I just want to see which software level your 2007 has, as my 2006 head unit worked with the AT BT module.
Thank you.
