Trunk not open because KESSY module is dead
Hi I have Bentley Flying Spur 2007 and I can not open trunk, because Kessy comfort module is dead, car not locate remote key fob. Imobilizer on door light blink.
Please how I open manualy trunk? On youtube or on net is help how open GT or GTC throu ski tunel and on right side is emergency opener. But in my Flying Spur is not the small door on right sight on ski tunel.
Is some other way how to open the trunk manualy on Flying Spur?
Thank you Vladimir

Hello Vladimir,
Please give us some more information, as to why you are trying to access the trunk, the KESSY module is located on the driver's (USA) side floorboard under the carpet.
Are both your batteries dead, did you change the battery in the key fob, does the vehicle start, does the key fob work to unlock the doors, is it that you just can not get into the trunk ?
I would think the emergency release for the flying spur would be the same as the GT for 2007, the release on the inside of the trunk lid does NOT work if the batteries are dead, that release is for if one got thrown in the trunk, or trapped in the trunk, it is a way to get out, the dead battery emergency release is or should be as NG stated, you must remove the rear seat to access it.
Here is a picture of my GT's release..

If the Batteries are dead, this will NOT work, as the emergency handle you would reach for is an electric switch on the lever, now one could say to pop the tail light then hook up the battery charger then use said electric switch to open the trunk, but before I would pop a tail light and risk pulling off or cracking the lens, I would back feed voltage though the C/L or a fuse, or pop the hood and hook up voltage to the 3 point connection at the firewall.

Hello Samhain,
Did you not read my prior post, this is not good information, if you notice the person in the video never actually removed the tail light, doing so would cause damage possibly to the lens, but 100% to the retaining studs that are seated in the tail light itself.
Please, if you are ever not able to access your trunk because of dead batteries, then unlock the door with the physical key, and apply power as I stated above through the C/L or tapping into the fuse box at the lower dash area, tap into a 20 amp or 30 amp body fuse and give it some time to charge up, or give the trunk release button a quick try, but never try to start the engine this way, also one could unlock the door as stated with the key blade and pop the hood to access power connection at the firewall.

Hi all, thank you for help... I have new information....KESSY is OK, problem is in Central Control Module for Central Convenience (J393), not communicate. Comfort modul is bad, then not reading key, not open trunk, not open gas cap, not open windows. Battery both is OK. Servis man must remove right back seat...I have Mulliner 4 set, and after then open trunk and then next repair. :-)

How did you get into the luggage compartment in the end? sorry to revive an old thread but I can't get into the father in laws 06 flying spur. His aux battery was dead so I ordered a new one, put the main terminals back on the battery, taped up the black lead so it wouldn't short and closed the boot. Big mistake. No emergency handle on the boot lid and i'm unsure how to remove the lower rear seat to remove the back section to (hopefully) access a release handle there. I've tried yanking it upwards,i saw a video of someone removing a light fitting to access a 12mm bolt but there are no lamps in the base either.

I have one similar to Samhain's from CTEK as well.
I actually purchased an additional one of the cables below which you can attach directly to your batteries. (The charger I have comes with one) This way each one of my batteries always has this comfort indicator cords hooked up on them. Then I switch the charger between the two to keep them both charged up, but mainly keep the accessory battery on the left charging the majority of the time. I believe this will work with the one Samhain posted as well.
