I have a Bentley 2006 flying spur . it seems on a cold start only if you give it acceleration (only forward) it jerks into second gear and is very sluggish and unresponsive in the first gear and then it sort of lunges forward after a delay. I only does it on it initial cold start and only in D. If i put it in S it does not have a problem with acceleration at all.

I have and the adaptive setting erased and the gear selection sensor was replaced as well

Hi mate my first port of call would be to get the gearbox oil and filter changed I've just had mine done cost about £400 well worth it the colour of my oil was black .I think it's something many overlook as part of a maintenance schedule
