FS air sus not inflating after new shock installed
Hello, I installed a new air strut after my Flying Spur front left started deflating over night.
The garage installed it and everything's working, but the strut won't inflate.
When disconnecting the air line from the strut it's flowing air. So it must be something wrong to do with the shock itself?
Any advise would be much appreciated, thanks!

There should be a check valve at the air hose inlet to the shock... you might check that to see if it's blocked. I seem to recall I had something going on there that didn't allow the shock to air-up one time when I replaced one of those shocks... but I don't recall the specifics... maybe I had the air hose/tube shoved in too far and that blocked the inlet into the check valve... it was something on that order.

I'll suggest try lifting some of the weight off the replaced shock... jack up that corner of the vehicle to rather "help" it up some for the first air-up. I don't know if the shocks can get compressed hard enough when they're dead flat to stick at the bottom of the stroke... but if you're like me, I had to lever/prybar the bottom of the shock "pretty good" to work it over the suspension and into position. From my experience the first air-up of the shock can be "reluctant". One of the front shocks I changed didn't move a bit for a couple cycles of the compressor, and when it did finally come-up, it raised a couple inches "all at once" off bottomed-out... like it was stuck at the bottom, and has been fine since that initial air-up/raise.
