Aesthetics of Gen 1 and Gen 2 Flying Spur

Had the opportunity to see a 2006 Flying Spur next to a 2014 Flying Spur side by side. Both white. Wondering what people here think of the aesthetics of the two models. I was quite surprised at how different they look in actuality from photographs. The 2014 seems more classically Bentley to me, really nice. Photographs don't really capture how significant the stylistic changes are.

I prefer the look of the older models to the new ones, the grill is just too big, like they got an entire fence panel on the front
