Instructions in Replacing Shifter Gate Cover?
I have seen previous posts by Johny HS and British about replacing the shifter gate cover but have not seen a complete tutorial. If one is out there could you point the way?
I bought the replacement cover for $60 from the eBay lead previously shared by British.
I'm ready to dive in.
Appreciate the assist lads.

I know I have posted this information somewhere on here, but here are a few tips, if you read the other thread you questioned in, you know to push down and pull up for the ****, as far as the wood trim, see these pictures, gently push back on both armrest while lifting the wood trim as shown in my pictures, PLEASE BE VERY GENTLE...

Much thanks Johnny - I think I now have enough information to proceed. Wish me luck.

One other comment -
The small magnets inserted into the bottom of the slider just sit inside the location. They can easily fall out. Others have reported them being installed sideways.
Should I apply a dab of glue to them to secure them in their captive spots?
