Did you go to FMU for your work?
Yes, love those guys. Kind of expensive, but they take great care of the car and I always feel like I'm being charged for the actual technician time, instead of the dealership that will charge you five hours book rate and hand the keys back in two and a half hours.

Also, they have a vendor deal with Tire Rack, so you can order from Tire Rack and they deliver for free to them, they're one of the choices when you order.

I like them too. The lady that runs the front office is a hoot. Nice to know the Bentley tech owns a Continental.

I’ve just fitted 2 New Pirelli P Zero’s to the front Of my GT, replacing the previous P Zero’s which I’d tried not to replace to for over a year The only thing I’m upset about is that I didn’t change them a year ago what a difference.
i thought I had a Steering Rack problem I could just feel some vague weird feedback through the Steering Wheel Which has now disappeared, I’m going to change the rears now.
Not a bad price £152.00 plus Vat each

I can believe it. My tires were very old, my car wasn't driven much before I bought it. My independent pointed out dry rot where the tires were starting to crack. I had the rims re-done and balanced, I should have done tires at the same time. I waited, then had the same experience as you, it felt like the suspension had gone through a tune-up.

My original tires weren't even weight-rated for the Bentley, I don't know if that matters, but they weren't a common choice since the application was wrong, they were supposed to go on a lighter car only.

The downside with my tires is that they're summer and dry only, I know I'll be doing some driving in the snow, so it might be a disaster. I bought this car with the intent on it being my daily driver, including in the snow and salt, but I'm sort of re-thinking that, I don't want to get salt all over this poor car, it's in such nice shape.

But for those of you on the fence, buy some new tires, it seems to make a big difference with our heavy car.

I’ve had my GT now nearly 2 years and really the tyres were coming to the end of their life then, I hung on as I thought they’d be expensive to change, I’ll be changing the rears next week.
I used the GT quite a lot when I bought it but hardly used it in the last 6/7 months I thought I was starting to go off it but this week I’ve used it every day and oh what a car I’m back in love.
only trouble is yesterday started to leak in the passenger footwell so I’ve got it stripped today now to clean out the scuttle under the windshield, I’ve posted my experience in another post.

Just had to scrap the original Pirelli’s that came on my 07 Bentley GTC. They actually still had a good bit of thread on them after 25k but at 14 years old ... still pretty amazing for any tyre. Anyway I have winter tyres and do the swap every year as these cars are meant to be driven. Rare to see one out there in the winter in the UK. Only thing with the Pirelli’s are that they are noisy so thinking about swapping to Michelin’s. What do you think?

Have had nothing but excellent success with Michelin 4S or similar model on:
Audi S5 V8 (second set now)
Porsche 911.1s (replaced original Pirellis and was like a new car - just sold car last week and Michelins had about 15k miles on them - superb performance)
Audi R8 V10 (just replaced less than 500 miles ago from PZEROs and a world of difference)

Have an Aston Martin DB9 about to arrive with only 4k miles and original PZEROs which may have a short life with me.

On the S5, they are unflappable in the rain to me. For the BGT/GTC I would suspect the comments above should affirm this decision for you. In Houston, not much winter weather to concern us (except for freak freeze/snow a few weeks ago), so they stay on year round.

No issues for me so far, highly recommend.
