Brake Light fail "alert" appears then dissapears after driving

my 2005 CGT , brake lights work fine most of the time. Once a week or so, the alert appears and says "check brake lights". . When I do then manually check my brake lights , when the alert is on, then sure enough the brake lights are not working , all three. After driving a few minutes the alert dissapears and the brake light function returns to normal. Any ideas ... many thanks

Hello @ContinentalGT05 ,

Brake light switch, or water intrusion into either the 3rd brake light itself, or either tail light 🤔
