It is a dead give away in the Carfax history... next buyer may not see the Russian license plate, hopefully he/she will see this thread.
Russian plate is pretty cool though, nice piece for the garage wall

They may have changed the digital read out only , or it’s linked to the central ECU ? So a undetectable.Unless the scanner shows the previous log in history ? In terms which chapters someone has been in ?
Anyway it may be genuine, but I doubt it .Show a pic of the panel on top of the radiator ( hood open ) .
The matt paint finish degrades with miles .
Another clue is the lip on the front rotors, there should not be one @10 K miles .
I know post 2000 onwards Ferrari’s @ main dealers , via telematics the milage + loadsa of other stuff is uploaded back to the Marenello.
So if you arrive at a Ferrari centre and enquire about a part ex / trade in , they distract you with a coffee while the sales guy ( takes your key ) and looks yours up and down , then logs it in to the “ system “ to check the milage on the clock syncs with the info they hold , assuming its full Ferrari history.Hence the milage claim in the “approved” used cars .
Bentley may not have the central storage of data @ Crewe but it will be somewhere on the car .

As I mentioned above interesting to get a scanner on the OBD plug and pull the actual milage .

I actually called my local Bentley dealer and the service department told me there was no way for them to verify the mileage shown on the odometer. Still that will be something interesting to check when I finally pull the trigger on a scanner.

I've got the same thing going on with the front and rear console "roll-top" covers. I've got a bag full of the wood pieces and found a couple more when getting the shift dust cover replaced. Maybe someday I'll try to fix them but I'm sure I'll be missing a few pieces.
