Power steering squealing

Power steering squealing
I had a power steering squeal in my 2000 Bentley Arnage. I checked the level and added about 1/2 quart of Pentosin CHF11S up to the bottom of the screen. Now the steering is very noisy, jerky and hard to turn. Is there a way to bleed it? What is the proper procedure to add fluid? Thanks.

Hello @J C ,
Does the Arnage not have a dip stick on the power steering fluid reservoir, being a half of a quart low is a lot, any leaks, anything on the ground after you added it, it will take quite a few turns full lock left to right to get any air out of the system.

hi Johnny,
Thank you for the reply. There are no stains on the garage floor. There is no dipstick that I can find. There is a screen in the reservoir and the fluid should be visible at the bottom of the screen. Would I bleed it with the cap on the reservoir or off? It was better before I added fluid.

Sorry I missed your response, you would leave the cap on, also, did you verify that you purchased the proper fluid for your 2000 Arnage ?

I would have the belly pan dropped to check for any leaks, as a half of a quart is a bit much depending on time frame between adding fluid.
