DRL where to wire in ?
Where would be the best live feed engine running / ignition on to tap into in order for the Daylight Running Lights to work ?
They need to be on all the time it’s running and off when parked up .
Thinking of fitting them in the lower outside grills at the front so the wire run will be there .
There are some 4 pin plugs to the hood latches near by .I do not fancy running the wire all the way through the engine bulkhead to the scuttle fuse / relay box , but if so where would I tap in ?
12 v low power LED s .

Regardless of where you power them, use a switching relay. When the ACC is on the relay input is powered and routed through to default output, lighting DRL:s. Then connect a wire from headlights to relay trigger, so that when driving lights are turned on, DRL:s turn off automatically.

Hi , all I have a eBay £5 box which reduces the power of the proposed DLR s when the lights come on .I need to know which one of theses is the side light colour?
This is the image of a RHD , LHS area behind the light cluster , it looks like the main feed going in and need to tap one signal wire for the control box for the side lights .
EU law means DLR s have to 1/2 dim with other lights inc sides on , so I need to this tap .
Which colour is the sides ?

Finished results
Tapped into the scuttle fuse box for “ ignition” for the live 12 v when the engine is running .
Used a ready made e bay divice £5 for the dimming , tapping into a wire to the side light .
Ran the wires inside the lower edge of the bumper , removed the belly pan for access .Fitted some spade connectors , so the wire can be easily unplugged if the bumper needs to come off .
