Flying Spur V8 - horn issues
I recently inherited a 2015 (built October 2014) Flying Spur V8 saloon with 16000 km (10000 miles) I drove it on Friday and blew the horn for the first time since I have had it, and it is absolutely pathetic! I cannot believe it has only a single tone horn that wouldn't wake a newborn baby, and when I looked in the handbook it says it has multiple horns. I had a Maserati a few years ago and it had a town and a country setting for the horn. I cannot see mention of a switch in the handbook or find anything on the dash that looks like it might be the thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! And if indeed it does have only one horn would I take it to an auto electrician to get it sorted? There is a Euro car specialist nearby, but the Bently dealer is about 3 hours drive from me
Thanks very much!

Front RHS. Remove the belly pan to access they are tucked up and corrode .Two good news common cheap parts .Bad news the brackets appear to made out of dissolvable metal , one grain of salt or sand and they are gone .

It was a Chinese market Quattroporte. The button was in Italian too, to the left of the column. They love their horns in Shanghai! In fact, as an Aussie, I remember our large Holden (GM) called the Statesman and rebadged as a Buick had to have a completely new horn fitted as the one fitted to our local market vehicles burnt out within the warranty period!

Thanks, John
I am thinking it must be something else as we have no snow here, and the car has actually only ever been driven in the rain twice! Do you know if it has multiple horns? I can't find anything even though the handbook actually mentions that it does. This one is just a 'peep peep', and is pretty embarrassing not to say useless!

Hello @jelly7961 ,
I am not 100% as to location on your 2014, but on my GT the horns are located on the right front, circled in red, plus the red dots.
There are 2 horns, but they sound in unison, not high or low.

Yeah it is true - they love to lay on their horns! I think I will be looking for a nice loud replacement.

Certainly overkill but their videos of demonstrations are , albeit sophomoric.

This place probably has ones loud enough to suit you if they can ship your way!
