AC blower issue (ac heat fan settings)
Hi,
I recently purchased a 2005 Bentley Continental gt w12.
It has about 61k miles now and runs perfect. As of recently the blower motor stopped working. I mean no ac or heat will blow at all now when turning the fan settings up or down. I don’t see any error codes for it and don’t know what to do at this point. I’ve checked the fuses and non are blown. Has anyone else ever seen this issue?

Cheap analyzers only look at Engine. You need something better getting insight with more advanced systems, such as the Ross-Tech. (I am hoping when you said error codes, you used an analyzer)

For what it's worth I was told by a reliable dealer tech, that there is only one motor for all the various interior vents in 2013 GTC.
That would seem to reduce the number of possible defects.

I believe one blower motor, but many (I believe 15) adjustment motors for the flaps.

Blower motor failure is common as I understand for VAG products of this age, and hopefully the motor be reached somewhat easily from under the hood or behind the infotainment covers.
I've had a motor blower die for an 2007 Audi about 2 years ago and was a straightforward 1hour job to replace, but was in a different location under the dash.

Just for everyones information, I believe my issue is the blower controller (resistor pack). Yes it is possible to at least access the blower and it is possible to remove the controller (inside the blower box under the hood) from the engine bay. It's very easy to check the blower motor as the connector is right inside the blower box and all you have to do is put 12v to it and see if it spins. Mine did. I have ordered a new controller (resistor pack) and we shall see if it works.
It made by Hella and the VW PN is 3D09075221A

Great info on the resistor pack, filing in my memory banks! Looks like the Bentley suppliers have that part under a slightly different part no "3D0907521A"
Good luck with the repair.

I have a 2020 GTC & one of the dashboard vents does not push any air out at all. Dealer checked with the UK factory & the factory is recommending that dealer replace all 16 adjustment motors for the flaps.
well to do that, I am told will need to remove the entire dashboard & front seats in order to gain access. Of course, thank God this is all under warranty.
Question: Once they remove the dashboard post-factory install, will that not open up a kettle of worms in the sense that it may likely lead to creaks & noises everyone I drive over a bump or pot hole? I guess my question really is will the car ever be as perfect again once you mess around with something like removing & re-attaching an entire dashboard?
Thank you.

Wow, that's a bit odd for a 2020 model. Perhaps the factory tech is thinking, if the dash is off anyway, replace all the motors pre-emptively. I wonder if this is because there was a known parts issue.
Not sure where you are located, buy if you have had other issues, you might check if you qualify for a lemon law refund/return in your area, with respect to the de-construction/re-install of the dash. (in my state for instance, for first 24k miles or 2yrs, if a car goes back to the dealer 3x for the same issue or 20 calendar days out of service are qualifiers and there's a notice requirement to start the process)
Every state is different and you can look this up here, if you happen to be in the US.
