Unable to clear P1933 code

More Bentley code dilemmas, hopefully someone can help before I remove what little hair I've got left. The car is a 2005 GTC it's had a fortune spent on it lately, the problem that now has come to test my patience is that code P1933 is showing but I can't clear it, with or without the engine running. I've checked for any wires that look suspect around the MAF's and throttle valves, but nothing obvious. Any Ideas?

What code reader? I only ask because none of the googles I've got have anything to do with the MAF

Which is hardly definitely, but I am curious.

Hi, the code reader is a Foxwell Automaster Pro.

Hello @Gin man ,
Can you please double check the code, as "P1933" does not come up as any VAG code, it very well may be that the Foxwell does not read Bentley correctly...

I only use Ross-Tech VCDS or VAS 5054 on all my VAG vehicles

Thanks Johnny, sorted. I've just put another code reader on the car and that doesn't come up with a P1933 code, need to try and sort the P0243 one out now, another new post I think.

Hi, I've checked the resistance from fuse 7 to pin 116 on both ECU's, the one at the rear reads 130 ohms and the other labelled 02 reads 32 ohms. What would you deduce from this?

Thanks again for your help, it's looking like the power train removal again as the solenoids are on top of the gearbox!!!

Apparently the 2005 has it's solenoids on top of the gearbox, how well designed is that, not!

Probably very *very* well if you're building the car.....

...perhaps not so much if you're focussed on replacing things...
