Brake light warning .

I run a 2009 Continental GT which has developed an intermittent fault .

On some occasions when I apply the foorbrake a warning " beep " sounds and a message appears on the dash

" Check brake lights. Fault. "

There is in fact no problem with any of the brake lights, and the warning is not always there when the footbrake is applied .

The message then disappears but appears again at random.

Anyone have any ideas ?

I've checked on numerous occasions and found all of the LED's working .

The fault has now cleared again , but no doubt will be back when I next drive the car !

Do you have any signs of moisture in the 3rd brake light, or either tail light ?

No I can't see any sign of moisture in any of the light assemblies.

Hello @sazam ,
As per Bentley, it is called the "CHMSL" or "central high mount stop light", so if you ever search for it on Scuderia or Flying Spares, you won't find it under the search "3rd brake light".
