magnus911 is infamous around these parts
Does anyone have a link to show me where the canister is or how to get to it? Youtube is coming up empty...

I've ordered a new part.

Hello @1eapplebaum ,
It appears that I never followed up on this thread, I apologize.

It was the charcoal canister, although mine wasn't full of gas as I recall, it was just a solid brick of charcoal, I pulled the larger white tubing off and went to the gas station, it filled freely with no kicking off the the pump nozzle.

@magnus911 ,
The charcoal canister is located under the vehicle in the rear as shown in my attached pictures, pull the large white tube off to test while fillin.

NOTE: With the tube disconnected from the charcoal canister while pumping gas into the tank, the gas fumes/vapor/smell will be intense, I bent down under the car while it was filling, I was shocked by the amount of air/fumes blowing out of the white tube, like a blower was on it..

Johnny

Much obliged for the update. I have ordered a replacement canister and when it arrives I'll get the car up and replace it. Hopefully it will solve the issues.

Should I expect it to be fine straight away?

Also, I assume in the meantime as it has a permanent misfire it's best not to move it, even if I drive it slowly back home? It's a good 20 miles.
