New Bentley Owner, bought 2006 needs some TLC
Hey all. Just picked up a 2006 Continental GT. Love the dark green and brown interior. The car needs a little TLC, seats need some reconditioning and some trim pieces need to get replaced. Having a dumb issue with the passenger side armrest. It will not lay flat. The driver's side operates normally when I bring it all the way up and back down but the passenger side gets stuck at the last notch before laying flat. Any ideas on how to fix that would be appreciated. I just ordered the DVD manual for the future but figured I am probably not the first person to have this issue.

Hello @DR3ADKN0T ,
Welcome to our forum !
I deleted your other thread on the same issue, "armrest" as you double posted.
I have a right side armrest frame/mechanism in proper working order that you are welcome to for the cost of shipping from 08502.

Yeah sorry about double post, I posted it first but noticed it never showed up but my 2nd post had, figured issue with the image or something. Thanks thats very nice of you, I was hoping this was going to be something I can fix myself vs having to replace it. Happy to take you up on your offer if people don’t think its something easily repaired. Not sure how much that weighs to get accurate shipping cost. Pretty sure it can lay flat, seen it in the photos and it was flat after the ppi when I picked up even though the inspector noted that same issue. Hoping there’s a trick I’m missing.

@DR3ADKN0T ,
You may want to get a little rough with it, slap it around a bit... 😀
I had it happen on my A8L W12 which has the similar type armrests setup, I moved it quickly up and down, while giving it a few bumps in the fully upright position, and it finally went all the down, hasn't been a problem for years now.

Of course, go out there to work it a bit and first time, bam goes flat. Was able to repeat it. Its kind of warm out so not sure if that has something random to do with it. 1 thing down, 43 more to go haha.
