Bentley continental gt / gtc / flying spur - boot or fuel cap switch not working
If your boot open and/or fuel cap open switch is not working , here is a simple fix.
It will be the circuit board in the drivers switch pack that is faulty. Pull up the switch pack, there are no screws holding it down, simple to lever up and out. Once switch pack is out, remove the screws at the base of the switch pack, gently lift off the cover and you will now see the pcb board (remove is slowly and gently pry it away from the white plastic switch cover, saves time when putting it back after, you disturb the switches otherwise.
You can clean the board with a good pcb cleaner and a toothbrush, you will probably see water ingress marks on it. This should get the switches working again. But if damaged badly, buy a VW Pheaton drivers window switch pack, swap the pcb boards they are exactly the same, and a fraction of the cost of a Bentley one.
I have now purchased a couple for keeping in my cupboard as spares whenever I need them. Pic of the ones I purchased, but any vw Pheaton one will work.
