Alarming!!

For no apparent reason my alarm kept sounding off continuously with short breaks of about 2 to 3 minutes.
It was driving me crazy, I would unlock the car with the remote, it would stop, then a couple of minutes later off again. I took the car for a 10km ride, it was even going off whilst driving(embarrassing to say the least).
I got back home and to save my and my neighbours annoyance, I looked up the fuse number for the alarm siren, it's number 34, behind the knee roll, pulled it end of problems!!
Or is it?
Could this cause other issues in time or can I leave this as it is fuseless?
Apart from the obvious theft issue of course, but pro thieves seem to have a way around anyway.
I have always been of the opinion that alarms either Car or Home, just annoy your neighbours and in this case, me as well.
Any thoughts much appreciated.
Nigel. (Estepona, Spain).

Embarrassing? Try having to drive with the convertible top immobile at half mast for 10 km., with the alarm going off when you exceed 20mph! Turned out to be loose hinges in the boot causing the boot and convertible top edge to overlap and cause the motors to stop and disable the mechanism electrically.

Update on alarm fuse.

OK Chap's,
As with all thing's, for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction.
It seems my car is also of this opinion!!
Took the car out for the first time since pulling alarm fuse, the air bag light was on also the P with the line through it (parking brake problem).
Got home, thought I wonder.......
Put back in the alarm fuse, off went the air bag light and P with line through it!!!
Up till now the car alarm has not gone off, so I will wait and see what happens next.
Life with a Bentley is never dull I suppose.
Take care all,
Nigel.
