Bentley-Best Options to Read Codes & Modify Systems

New owner of a 2014 FS and want to be able to read codes and make (simple) system changes. At present, the rear seat entertainment system is not responding and the backup camera stopped operating, last weekend. No mechanical issues, but not sure if batteries should be replaced to rule out any voltage anomalies. I replaced a damaged rear side window shade, so not afraid to tackle straight-forward dismantling tasks. Would like an idea of the problem, before car is taken to a shop. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I appreciate the quick response!

I will go through the descriptions and may have a few questions on differences. Thanks, again!

The only differences are in the number of VINs you can register or if you want WiFi / USB.
It's a great piece of kit IMHO

This might be a better link to understand the options as it were

Thanks for the links and comments - a few questions?

I went through the website info and had questions about:
-considering an enthusiast kit, what is the pros/cons to the wireless option?
-I currently have a Bentley, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover & Lincoln. Is this only applicable to the Bentley & Audi? If yes, then any experience with the 3 limitation being an issue?

I will purchase an enthusiast kit, but trying to gauge options without any prior experience. Again, the help is appreciated!

Personally I'm more than happy with the wired option. Really can't be faffing around changing the wifi networks of whatever device I want to use to do my diagnostics and the chips in these devices never seem that great. Why they just don't use bluetooth (which is pretty perfectly suited) is a little beyond me.

I expect these will only work well for the Bentley and Audi. Certainly never had an issue with the limitations, but I only have the Continental

Seems far more sensible to me. ODIS is quite costly, though?

Ahhh right. Very wise approach

Purchased HEX-V2 & Dell Notebook!

I want to thank everyone for the input! I decided to go with the entry-level kit, since I only have two VAG vehicles at the moment. I'll upgrade as my knowledge and usage dictates. Thanks, again!

Plenty of threads and posts on line how to use it. Tread with some care. It's quite possible to break stuff, apparently!

I think you can use it for almost all VW products - VW, Audi, Bentley, etc. I use mine on my Continental and VW Phaeton.

Despite the # limitation, you can use it to just scan as many cars as you want. Mine was very helpful in pulling codes off Continentals I was evaluating before purchase. The limitation comes in when you want to make coding changes to a car.
