Hi all

im new to the forum having just purchased a 2008 gtc. Would like to know if these are supposed to do a global closure as they do a global open. Mine seems to work one way which my be the standard. Also should the windows close globally if the close button on the fob is held?

my 2007 globally closes but only by holding the button until everything has closed, if you let the button off half way , the global closing stops, if you see what i mean

global open works all the way with one short press

i dont think it should be any different, but its how mine works,

Hi Brake Buster. Thanks for getting in touch. I can do global open with roof and windows if I hold the unlock button on the fob but nothing if I hold the close button down. Might need to get it checked if it should open an close fully by the fob

 

Doesn't risk running down the battery when you use the fob to open/close?

 

No, I use global open and close on the GT plenty, as do I on my A8L W12 with one battery, the A8L opens and closes all four windows and the sunroof, never an issue.

Do you have a GTC brake buster or coupe?

 

mine is a 2007 Mulliner Coupe , so not fully comparable to a GTC, though one would expect similar ' functions' ??

Again on the battery issue with the gtc top routine, how come I'm always told to have the engine running when I do the top up/down?
