All controls to my trunk have now failed it seems since a few days ago. I was able to finally get it open with manual release. Weird issue now is ODIS and VAS tell me told me to check the C00976 Power open/close control module which should be beside the CCM unit in the parcel compartment(ODIS/IETIS diagram) but there is nothing there? I’m confused because it worked just days ago.





Is it possible this is in another location than ODIS says? Year is 2005 GT.

Symptoms:
4 way hazard lights flash when press B symbol on the trunk lid no sound
Door switch does nothing
Keys is the same result as the B button. 3 button keys not valet
No power to anything it seems, 2 trunk lid lights are out
Car does not know the trunk is open on Center display on dash
Trunk will not close or lock

Spent $500 replacing both batteries yesterday.

I read some phaeton VW forums saying it’s bad CCM module flagging other components but can’t be sure. I can try to code the CCM but I’m not sure any proper values or where to look.

Does anyone else have similar problem before maybe you can tell me what you did?

 

im having the same issue with my 2014 CFS no power in trunk no radio no trunk lights no power to the open close button. Have you solved this issue yet??? I need advice

In 1337's other thread on the trunk issue, 1337 stated that the coding of the trunk control module was incorrect, 40 vs 32.

Do you have the Ross-Tech VCDS, can you post a full scan ?
