Not the turkey baster? That looks like trouble...

Lol, the baster you can grab or block, the rifle not much better in close quarters, but… since we’re off topic anyway…

The pizza slicer cuts and there’s nowhere to get a safe purchase so keeps moving and slicing again and again

ive always said, I’d rather be shot than stabbed and a rolling blade, well, that’s a knife with one trick too many. If someone came at me with a pizza cutter, I’m outta there, man!

Give me the bullet, keep the bayonet! I guess I’d rather be killed than maimed, lol.

Hahaha...you guys get me. Wife couldnt understand the deadliness of a pizza cutter or the psychological deterrent of a turkey baster.

Back on topic....It looks like a micro compact would fit no problem in the door pouch.

Especially with all the carjackings lately, don't think there could be a bigger target than a Bentley

I read somewhere that the Continental has been in more music videos than any other car.

Johnny
Yup - plenty of room to remove both from the map pocket with the door closed.

that might be the answer I'm looking for
How does leaving the mirror switch in the middle position 'cook' the sideview mirros?

I always keep mine in the right position to engage the passenger side mirror dip when placed into reverse.

@Randy V ,
Because the center position is the on position for the heated mirrors.

It would be interesting to confirm if the heated function only comes on with the demist (rear) or not. Personally ICBA to check but someone might want to

The heated mirrors come on regardless or any other settings of heat (HVAC) or rear glass defogger.

Ask me how I know... 🤔 I was working on the vehicle and got my finger prints on the driver's side mirror, I went to clean it, and it was actually hot, not just a tad warm, but on the hot side, the passenger side was also hot, I kept looking like what the hell, then the light bulb went on, and I thought of the switch...

My mirrors are fine though.

Did you say you had a CCW? You'll need one to legally 'carry' your pistol in the car that way....

Can confirm. My right mirror is discolored and brown with a weird lightning pattern all around the edges.

I'm glad I brought this question up, the answer was staring me right in the face, I'm amazed I didn't know that side pocket moved out like it does. Next step is getting the CC permit, it's a P.I.T.A. to get, a whole weekend. But I'm not really complaining, it isn't an unreasonable course, although I suspect there really isn't enough to fill an eight-hour day in the classroom. I do think that demonstration of safety skills and some modicum of accuracy isn't too much to ask before letting someone walk around strapped. If you want to argue with me, fine, I don't really have an opinion on the whole.

I've had two recent, "Is this a carjacking?" experiences, one was with my daughter in the right seat in the middle lane of Michigan Avenue in front of Grant Park, a group of "teens" (that's the phrase the local news uses) was on the sidewalk, one saw my car and just strode right into traffic to stop me, I made him jump back and continued on, I doubt it was a carjacking but it was close enough to how they happen that I got spooked. Then last week, same thing, a group of "teens" was crossing the street, one saw the car and came striding up with something in his hands…I just punched the gas and ran the light, what was in his hands was a "Bucket Boys" (grifters who bang on empty buckets to get tips while pickpockets work the crowd) laminated card, so again, not a carjacking but so exceptionally aggressive that I'm wondering what happens when someone is carrying a gun and has that same lack of impulse control and just strides into traffic and points a gun through the window.

And the oddest thing is that in my municipality, if a cop car were to pull up as this was happening and the carjacker took off in my Bentley, the cop would not be allowed to give chase, so I'd probably get my car back after it was crashed into something (none of these jackers have licenses or ever took driver's ed, it's amazing how many of them smash into stuff) with the jacker long gone.
