Black mould on headliner

Has any body had to deal with black mould on the headliner? This is in a convertible. Please see pics.

I'd hit it with this:

Spray it on the mold itself.

Whatever you use....go mild to harsh. I would start with warm soapy water then go up from there. Then go with the product notwise recommended.....but in a small area to test for de colorization.

@kongolo ,
I am wondering what is the cause, do you leave the roof down for long periods of time, is there a drainage issue where the roof is stored in the down position, is your roof leaking from the outer canvas to the inner liner when in the up position ?

I second the concrobium products, if you have a hard time getting the mold off with soap/water.

For, my boat, where every compartment ends up looking like this if it sits even just a few days in the rain, I use concrobium mold eraser powder in hot water, which is the only thing that was able to remove the dark stains left behind on my stark white seats and greenish stains on the sunbrella canvas top and covers. May want to test in an inconspicous area first.

Haven't tried the spray referenced above, but will give that a go, as it looks much more convenient.

Same here. I use my boat twice a week and even then, I find a spot here or there that needs a wipe down. That being said.....I need to quit procrastination and go work on her some.
