Constantly topping up oil

I have a bentley continental gt with the w12 and 98000kms on it. Iv never had the low oil lite come on but I constantly check the dip stick and oil level is always low so I am adding oil to it monthly. Is this normal?

Side note: there is no blue or black smoke coming out the exaust so I do not think I'm burning oil

How many miles are you driving between top ups and just how much oil are you actually putting in the engine every time?

That sounds quite a lot tbh. Is there any sign of a drip anywhere.
What is the published acceptable oil consumption for our w12 engines. For eg my 2ltr Cosworth is 1 ltr /1.76pts per 1000 miles.

If you see bluish smoke when on the gas, out of the tailpipe and can't find any leaks externally, you might have to start looking at internal oil seals and gaskets. Some folks on here may know common points of failure might be for these engines. 3/4 of a quart is a fair amount of oil and likely should have some fingerprints.

Might also pull some spark plugs to see if any have signs of oil, which might help narrow things down.

No smoke out the back at all. took it up on the lift and removed bottom skid plates to find no signs oil leaks anywhere. To be honest it looked like it was just off the showroom floor under there.

Do you ever add oil to you bentley between oil changes ?

I've not had to add oil as of yet. Hope you find the culprit.

Not uncommon for the intercoolers to have a couple ounces of oil, over time accumulated within. Worth double-checking, should there be more than a couple ounces. Remove the hose clamps at the lower rubber intercooler hoses under the vehicle next to the bottom of the radiator, right and left.
