I have 3W0035007G 05/04 and no rear camera, no PDC screen like this:









And it was not working with




You can get this screen, pressing setup, other functions, and then holding upper and down buttuns on right side of infortainment.
So, if your car has rear camera or pdc screen, can you show me this screen so ill try to find firmware, or maube brocken unit with eeprom, or maybe normal head unit)
And this info would be usefull for retrofitiing cameras to continental gt without it.

Being that you have a 2004 iirc, does your vehicle have the parking sensors in the front and rear bumpers, do you have the PDC switch on the dash as shown in my attached picture ?

As far as infotainment head units go, here in the US our head units from 2004-2010 that I have worked on all end with part number 008, whereas Euro units end with 007, and of course different revision letters at the end, so I would think that your firmware/software version would be different also.

Hello @Johnny Hotspur GT Yes i do have sensors, and i do have that button, and hear beeps sometimes, but it would be much better to see it like on the screen. But i never saw any pics exapt that with that screen)

And about camera, i know that that module worked with 3W0035007K and that car was 2006

offtopic: I've got my seekthermal compactPro and going to make 10 minutes test with that tail lights conversion module) in a few day when it will be a bit warmer, couse cold wether will make it not that hot. and ill compare temp with oem supersports radiator, just to be sure about safe temperatures inside. I can use some radiator, or maybe place it on the body part, but...i don't like this frankly speaking,

I am not sure exactly which numbers you are looking for, a firmware, or a software, so here are some pictures below of the units I have, I put the unit made in the 50th week of 04 on the bench and powered it up, it has SW version 0223, and the vehicle screen does not even have an option to press a PDC button, as it's just not there like it is on the 2010 head unit.

The next head unit is a 29th week of 07, with software version 2215, but sadly I must state that it has a bad video board, therefore I can not see if it has the PDC button available.

And lastly is my 2010 head unit from the 1st week of 2010, with software version 2270, it does have the PDC button, but as can be seen in my pictures, the screen shows that it is "not active" eventhough the two tone beeping works for front and rear, yet the graphical layout as you pictured, does not display any orange graphs on mine, so I have some issues to work out, as I have not installed the RVC control module or the camera itself yet, so I take it that maybe the 2010 head unit is looking for the RVC module, or I need to do some coding, or if it turns out that a 2006 did not have the PDC graphical guide either, then I think I must swap out the 2006 PDC module that is installed on the rear drop down shelf with a 2010 PDC module.

So would owners of any 2006 - 07 please tell us if your vehicle has the PDC graphical guide display.

@Johnny Hotspur GT Im wondering You have no camera.,..But definitly this is what i was looking ) i need 2010 y.m head with J index or later 007-008 don't think thay have difference in this question)
About PDC screen, i think (not sure) 3W0919283G this module will solve. or maybe earlier versions of pdc module 3W0919283D but definitly not that one instaleled 2003-2006. BUT G is for lift but compatible with ss 2009 and D is compatible....... so i don't know. Risky)

If i had wracked unit like yours i could read eeprom with firmwre and try to put it on mine, bu sellers a f*cking crazy with prices for this old useless ****(

There is like Yours SW2270 but HW02 2009y.m. I doubt. But chances that it will appear made in 2010. Dont know. 800bucks for try

My US 2006 model doesn't have the PDC graphical display.

On my similar year Audi, I was able to get to a hidden menu in MMI and turn on a version of this and some other features like battery charge level, but haven't found anything similar for the Bentley head unit.

 

@Johnny Hotspur GT @sam08861 Can i ask does your american head unit has "0.2" step in frequency like it is used for USA cars, or it has "0.1" step? Or maybe you know abot switching possibility? sorry for bothering)

I did the same with my 05 A8L W12 for graphics and battery level etc. I then later swapped out the PDC on the Audi to add RVC.

Never a bother.

As far as stepping, I believe if I understand your question, my tuner does not get each individual step,, it skips one, as in 105.1, .3, .5, .7, .9, to 106.1

As far as the PDC module, I am going to stay away from the "3D0" Pheaton unit, as it has a different SW number format compared to the original "3W0" Bentley unit, I am making offers on a "B" version of the 3W0 919 283 as it is from 2007-09 and it has PR-7X2 and 7X8, which the 7X2 is front and rear parking sensors, and the 7X8 is the RVC.

See attached VAG option code file at the bottom.

and i'll wil try to make it all work together, Yesterday ive made stupidiest thing )) i had touareg 2003 rear camera module, and i inserted it....... fuse of amplifier is dead. Wow, good luck. That was dumbiest idea to see "what happens")

@Johnny Hotspur GT I've got 3W0919283B for 150 and also ive got Rvcs module for 350 today(. Strange thing. Rear camera is switching off at 35-40 km/h with this module, first i was looking like reset of head unit, but after one more disasembling and trying all connectors i've found that fact with speed. and that weired thing, couse It is not head unit swithcing it off but control module(i've got can cheating VIM module) ) And as i've wrote earlier i have made custom wire that goes to AV2 and i can turn on camera on my tv tuner. So basicly control module swithes off power from camera at that speed and oroof is that cable splits before came signal gets into module, and camera is powered from that 54 pin connector as i can seem couse camera give no signal without module installed.

And one more thing. My service friend told me that Gt got problem with that modules couse of water getting from tail light, so i have idea to make sort of condoms ) ahahaha, for parts that often are rusted and rotten becouse of moisture

UPD! got my headunit from fu**ing ebay, h02/s2270 2008y.m. it hav pdc screen, it is naim, but. it is still not working (3W0919283B installed) as it should ) ill try programming it tomorrow

I got it! i think there is spesial wire that appeared in llate 2008. ill try lo look in manuals, but it is so hard and complicated for me couse mine is 2004.
