Water in offside headlamp after washing engine - Continental GT
Hi guys, just had my 2008 GT detailed including engine clean, but the idiot used a jet wash on the engine... Don't know what he did or if the seal inside somewhere is broken but a fair amount of water has got in and it's caused horrible misting. Is there any way I can get rid of this without disassembly??

Perhaps it can be evaporated out with a carefully placed hair dryer or heat lamp? (heat gun might get to hot or melt stuff, if not careful)
I've also used those bags of silica gel beads they use for overwintering shrink wrapped boats to dry a few things out, so you may be able to pack a bag behind the light and hope the moisture gets drawn out, and of course, I wouldn't recommend driving with the bag in place. You'll want a dry indoor space, so the beads don't just suck up the ambient moisture.
Packed some camera lenses that went off grid in a box with one of those bags and it dried up pretty quickly and left only a faint amount of residue from whatever contaminants were in the water.
