How to code new modules

Hi I have a bentley 2015 gtc. I want to replace the abs module off a used car. Can we simply swap or does it need coding? new to bentley's

Likely needs coding,
If it is the proper part #, there are processes how to code using Ross-Tech or other tools....You need a bidirectional analyzer to program the module
I did one on the Audi A8 (similar unit) and it, was not straight forward. Took some trial and error, reading identification labels inside the trunk & more, but got it to finally to work.
If it is not the exact part #, you may have to use other programming software to re-flash to fit the Bentley (assuming the mechanical part itself is the same).
Hope this helps,
