EPB (P) alarm (steady, no flash no slash) at 50miles during a summer Interstate run, then again at 50miles this Dec during a country 2-lane run. NO significant braking in either run and PLENTY of fresh, SC cooling air for discs and calipers! BOTH EPB (RR/LR) motors verified by ear at wheel to drive IN/OUT smooth and steady. First alarm cleared on next Start; second cleared after today's EPB drive motor tests. Could this be a spurious alarm triggered by a sensor? If so, how where to discover which sensor "might" be likely culprit? Brake fluid clear and Full. HELP!

Usually moisture in a connection , or the motor body has split and there is water ingress .
I tend to annually clean and grease up the electrical plug and grease lightly the motor body as a preventative measure .

A low LHS battery can give spurious warning as well .Worth checking its connections and it’s ability to hold charge .

Audi A 8 EPB motor fits at a fraction of the Bentley price .
