Tyre pressure

Hello,

My Bentley Continental GT, MY 2004, is fitted with 21 inch alloys ( I think these maybe off a 2020 model?) and they are on Dunlop 275/35/21 tyres all round.

Unfortunately the information on the sticker in the door well only covers standard 19 inch alloys.

I have put in 46 air in all the tyres, but think it may be too much.

Thanks

I have 21’s on my 2012 ContiGT and run then at 38psi all round. Works fine but 46 is over inflated.
Hope this helps….

Thanks Tony,

I think I had 36/38 and the steering felt very heavy, but at 46 the ride is harsh, even in comfort mode.

I will change back to 38 and see how I get on.

Additionally the rubber makes a difference. Im on Pirelli P Zeros same size as you have. Not sure about Dunlops but Bentley make the Pirelli PZero expressly for the Conti..it has a “B” suffix. Again not sure about Dunlop. I tend to go with what the manufacturers recommend. Hence the Pirelli’s. They have been made in conjunction with Bentley Motors and Pirelli. If they take the time to go to those lengths it follows they believe the Pirelli’s are best for the ContiGT (circa 2012)…

I bought the car recently and all 4 tyres had recently been replaced, they are the Dunlop S sport max gt.
Not sure how many miles I will get and am hoping for even wear, then I will look at another brands like the ozeros.

I think mine are summer tyres, seen some Dunlop winter tyres made for CGT, just thinking we don't really need winter tyres in the uk
