Purchasing 2014 Bentley Flying Spur
Hi everyone! Today, I’m scheduled to buy a 2014 Bentley Flying Spur W12 (first year of newer style) that has a perfect 1 owner Carfax report and only 6,000 original miles. Locally owned, always garaged and in immaculate condition. original MSRP $217,000. It has just been serviced by my local Bentley dealer and will be sold to me as Bentley certified pre owned with a 1 year warranty… I’m purchasing it for $89,950.
is this a good deal for the mileage, history, condition and warranty??? Will it depreciate much over the next 3 years if I drive it lightly and keep it in the same condition?? What are the regrets and cons to buying this before I sign on the dotted line…. Thanks!!! I’ve always wanted a Bentley, but do not want to spend 250k plus for a new Spur knowing how much they depreciate…

Given the low mileage, clean history and 1 year warranty I think that's a fair price from a Bentley dealer. I paid $91K for a 2009 GT in 2015 and it was worth half that (according to the insurance company) 7 years later in 2022. The Gen 2 models are a very nice upgrade from the Gen 1 versions and I think you'll be very happy with your choice. After losing my '09 to a flood I bought a '16 and couldn't be happier. Fortunately, I had an agreed insured value of $80K so I did well.
