Bentley continental gt fans

@Mitchy1971 ,
I did LHD, I will go double check if there is any difference...
Here are the wiring routes for both fan controller's.
Out of ECU 1 (which should be closest to the windshield) on the larger 81 pin plug, pin # 66 yellow/brown goes straight to fan #1's control module 4 pin plug, on the same ECU #1 but on the 40 pin plug, pin # 104 yellow/brown goes to the 10 pin connector male side as pin # 3, then from the female of this same connection as pin # 3 to the fan # 2 control module 4 pin plug.
The 10 pin male and female connection plug is right in the area of the engine ECU'S.
Both pin #2's on the 4 pin plugs from each fan controller's splice together as you showed, this wire runs to the E fuse box, and is a 10 amp fuse, fuse #12 (F12).
Now I will check my own yellow/brown wires tomorrow, if I have time...
Johnny

Hi Johnny
Thank you for the reply and information on the pin location and numbers
My ecu was the one furthest away from the bulkhead!!
I have just tested them today and all pins 66 and 104 to the 4 pin plugs are 0.1 ohm and all good
The other wire from the fuse 12 is ok and has 12 volts when ignition turned on
Hopefully it's the fans that are faulty and not the ecu fingers crossed
Will update when i get the fans in and tested
All air congaa has been taken out so i cant test until i build it up
Thank you Simon

Hi.
All wiring ok. New fans fitted today and still have the issue of running all the time. When engine runs they come in and out when air con used but when i switch off they are constantly on
Getting really confused with this fault
Any help is appreciated
Cheers Simon

Hi again. The 10 amp fuse in the e fuse board is 12 volys when the ignition is turned off. Have to pull fuae to stop fans running
Where does that come from and can i just rum a ignition feed to it instead
Does it go through a relay
Thank you again Simon
