CarPlay Non Invasively?
Howdy,
I have read a few threads but I am not interested in having someone intrusively modify my car. Is there any solution for adding Apple CarPlay without replacing the factory infotainment unit?
Thanks,
Robert

Robert, You have a 2015 GT3-R correct? Does it have an audio input? Here is a link I found online, not sure if it is any good or not.

Yes, GT3-R. I don't have it yet, it is on the way from Ontario. They don't say how it connects. So irritating that folks don't give more details. I will email them or call.
Thanks for your reply,
Robert

Here's how most of these units are installed:

That scares me on what will be, if not already, a collector car. Mine is #99 out of 99 for the US, so I should probably not chance it.
Y'all take care,

I booked in my 2016 V8 S for next week to install apple car play. Really looking forward although expensive (1500 pounds fitted!) but its a major job. They need to remove all the middle dash board......
