As to your issue, being that you have a 2006 FS, are you talking about the front Infotainment head unit flashing, or the rear seat AC controls ?
Do you have a scan ?

OK, along with pulling any fault codes for the Infotainment control head ( address 07), it may be helpful to post a video of just what is happening, as your comment of "on the AC control panel" is confusing, as there is only one AC button, and the three red and blue buttons for AC, so, which lights or buttons In particular are flashing ?
