How do I remove ecu from Flying spur
I have a bad ecu that is setting my coils on bank 1 on fire and it needs to be replaced. I know where it is located and I'm not quite sure how to remove it. I've broken stuff on this car before while trying tofixing things and would prefer not to repeat same.

It's quite easy to replace and doesn't need any tools.
It's at the back of the engine bay on the right hand side (at least for RHD). The cover over the rear of the engine bay is just clipped in place with four obvious twist-clips, and if you lift this out of the way, you can get at the ECUs without removing the windscreen wipers. The connectors seem baffling at first until you discover you have to pull the locking tab maybe an inch or more out, not just the quarter inch you might have thought. You can then lift the ECU out. ECU1 is at the back, ECU2 is nearer the front. When you put it back it will start for 1s then stop, with a message that the car has been imobilised. If you then put the key in rather than using the button, it will start.
My experience is only of removing the front most ECU (ECU2) but I think you can probably get them both out.
