Digital MPH Read Out

Digital MPH Read Out
Hi Everyone
I have had my 2010 GT Speed for nearly 2yrs.
I recently had some work done at my local Inde dealer where they carried some diagnostic work and a smoke test
When I got the car back and drove it, I noticed a new function on the square display between the speedo & Tachometer had appeared.
The display was now showing a digital MPH readout - scrolling through the menu, all the other functions remained the same
I had never seen the MPH displayed on this screen before and I was really pleased with it
I phoned the Inde up and asked them what they had done (I thought that they may have updated some software) but the said that they had not done anything to this function
Some weeks later I left the car in the garage too long without charging it & the battery went flat, so I used the key to start it with the starter battery
The car started ok but on driving it I noticed that my "new" MPH Readout had disappeared
I checked the car through with my Ross Tech but could not find anything to switch the MPH function back on
Does anyone (Johnny !) know anything about this function and how I can get it working again ?
Is the MPH readout a normal function on a 2010 model ?
Looking forward to your feedback
Thank you in advance for your help

I have no idea about the big picture but on my '09 FS Speed there's a digital speed display option in the menu and I use it frequently. I don't have owner's manual at hand right now (is it available as PDF somewhere?) but if it's a standard feature it should be documented in it.
