Hi all does anyone know how to release air out of an air suspension that just came out of the box and not yet installed on the vehicle?

it just doesn’t fit into the rear passenger side. It’s a bit longer than the piece i took it out.

I saw your pm.
Being that it is brand new from a box, did you make sure to remove any plug that may be in place at the air line hose input fitting, this has happened to others here with new front struts.
Post a picture of the top of the strut air connector fitting.

Thanks Johnny, so what i ended up doing was.. lifting a bit higher and use a breaker bar to lower the suspension, i had to use my full body weight, on the breaker bar and had someone put the suspension in. It was like few inches taller with the fully charged out of the box air suspension from Aerosus

 

@shorttough ,
Make sure that there is no plug in the fitting, or if the new strut and it's air line connection fitting is not the compression nut type, but instead like a plumbing snake bite fitting, be sure as to not send it all the way home, another member here did that, and in turn the air was blocked from entering or exiting the strut.

Curious what brand strut and what model Bentley?

So after about few days I’m getting these errors. Could it be the fitting on the aerosus issue?

 

I would be spraying the air line connections at each strut to check for bubbles, same goes for the valve block.
