Morning All, as per title on my GT V8S 2016 the plastic sleeve (NOT the TIP) of the oil dipstick broke while checking oil level yesterday, Nothing ended up in the tube. I ordered a replacement on EBAY but will take at least a week to arrive.

Can you drive the car without the sleeve or do you risk vacuum leaks or even worse contamination in the engine? The sleeve was already cracked when I went to check the oil and the car was driving fine.....
