GTC top not retracting
Hi guys. Stumped on problem with convertible top. Have a 2012 Bentley GTC that has a top that is stalling before the tonneau cover raises up. It had broken straps for rear bow which I replaced. It appears the headliner is getting caught on the frame position sensor and same spot on right side of frame causing the rear frame not to raise up far enough for the open cycle to complete. If I gently guide the headliner off the frame sensor and other side of frame, top will actuate fine. It will also close fine every time. I'm assuming the issue of headlining getting caught is what caused the frame straps to break in the first place. I don't see any other broken cords or straps so wondering if its just a tension adjustment somewhere, but I'm just not seeing it. Anyone have any ideas to look at? Thanks!!

This is a well known issue. Look at other threads on the forum. I believe it's a defective design. A shop in England claims to know how to prevent it. It's on youtube if you search.
A Dutch company sells a reinforced replacement strap, but that won't help if you've already had holes in the canvas top.
Elsewhere I put the link to the Dutch supplier.
