Suspension

I currently run a 2013 Speed.
A friend recently visited and pointed out that the rear suspension seemed low. I checked and found he was absolutely correct insofar as the rear body of the car had dropped around one inch over a period of 7-10 days days .
I booked the car in to the local Bentley/RR Specialist .
After exhaustive checks they were unable to find any leak. They did find however that the rubber gaiter on the rear offside suspension assembly had a small rip in it .
Although this was not guaranteed to be the solution I told them to go ahead and renew the suspect parts .
The bill came to just under £4000 .
I haven't used the car for the last week and visiting the garage again this evening found that once again the suspension has sagged so the new parts have obviously not solved the problem .
As soon as the engine is started the pump motor cuts in and after approximately 25 seconds running switches off having pumped up the suspension again .
Does anyone else have any similar problem ? Is it acceptable that over a period of 7-10 days air will escape from the suspension system ? If not , why is a pump fitted in the first place ?
There must be a leak somewhere but it is very tiny .

Well, it definitely sounds like you have a leak somewhere. I've heard that the boots can be hard to spot a leak. I guess the next move sadly is to either replace the rears. How many miles on your car? Before I did that though, I would want a really thorough leak test.

The car has covered just over 25000 miles.
Is the rear suspension linked directly to the front as there is no loss of height on the front of the car ?

No they are separate. i believe when the car lowers. it drops the fronts first, then the rears after. Raise the car. Leave it at the highest settng. If no leak - it will stay there with NO pump actuation. If theres a leak, the affected side will drop - and the car will need the compressor to add the lost air.

Some models of GT like mine goes into rest mode within days of no use, to confirm leakage, raise the car to highest then press together height+susp button until jack mode message appears on dash then turn off the car and check after few days.
this is the only way suspensions could be checked easily for leaks
