mrc00l88 is infamous around these parts
Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor EGT Bank 1 - Short to Ground

16929 - Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 (G235)
P0545 - 002 - Short to Ground

Are there any fuses, or the like to check for this code?

Or is replacing the circuit board/sensor itself the fix?

To confirm, bank 1 is on the left side (passenger USA) while standing infront of the vehicle looking at the engine?

Thank you

Bentley F,

How did you get the case/box open? I have tried on mine, but have not been able to get it off. Also, do you have pictures showing how you got it apart? Did you just pry it open?

Also, I found the following and I have ordered the two boards on the attached and am planning on giving it a shot.
