Bentley Continental GTC vs. a 911 Cab / Taycan?
I'm a little bit all over the place here, so maybe some feedback from here might help. I've had an order for a 911 Turbo Cab a few times in my life - most recently 3 years ago, but changed the order to a Taycan Turbo. I love the Taycan, but still really want a 4-seater convertible. I was looking at the new 911 Cab's, but: a) the 2025/2026 refresh has gone up in price, b) the back seats continue to be very right - even for my 9/10 year old daughters. I was always a fan of the Bentley Continental and don't track/race my cars (so some of the benefit of the 911 will be lost on me). Should I be looking at the Continental Cab? I looked at a few used ones that seemed reasonable (1-2 years old) but the prices seemed about what a new one would be. Thoughts?

A new one is like 300/320 with the Speed at $400K. The first of the gen3s (2019/2020) I've seen for 170/175. And when the gen4 comes out shortly, there should be a step down in gen3 prices across the board as many people will trade in for the upgrade.

2024's, without tons of options are ~$300k. A 2024 911 Turbo Cab, with the options I want, is about $260k - with the refresh going up to ~$300k. So not that far off on price; although the 911 will hold values better. I like the idea of the EV-assist on the gen4 honestly - but I'm sure that will be $350k at that point. I don't think I'd want to go to a 2019/2020 - maybe 1-2 years old to keep the warranty, but those seem to be within 10% of MSRP anyway. Hmm.

a Taycan move. I’ve heard some unhappy owners with numerous issues but think it’s the 20-21 cars.

2021. I'm pretty active on the Taycan forums - most of the issues were from the first model year (2020) - and Porsche has resolved almost everything at this point. I'd say it's very safe purchasing 2021+; the 2020's I'd stay away from just to be safe.
